Building an AI-Native Company

Zurich to San Francisco

Zurich🇨🇭 → San Francisco🇺🇸

I dreamt of going to the valley for 4 years.

Many don't know this about me, but I was born in the US and then raised in Switzerland (I know, I'm truly blessed and grateful to have won the passport lottery).

Here is what excites me about sf:

[1] The home of tech innovation

Growing up in a small town in Switzerland (close to cows and forests) I kinda felt left out from the real action in the tech space.

I've always binge watched Youtube videos about tech founders, startup accelerators and they were all in sf/sillicon valley.

[2] Being the dumbest person in the room

This really scares my ego, but I know in order for me to grow and reach my goals, I gotta surround myself with people who are 10x more:

- ambitious - technical - successful

than me. Looking forward to be humbled and learn from the best in the industry.

[3] Customers, Partners and Investors

@ OXYGEN we are building a CLI / MCP for GTM, so that Claude Code or Codex can launch outbound campaigns in 30min instead of 3h.

This means our users are AI first companies and the highest density of these companies are in sf.

Next to that we have +90 GTM integrations and a lot of these companies are sf based and I'd love to connect with them personally.

We are currently not raising any money, but I heard you should build relationships to potential investors as early as possible. There is no place that deploys more venture capital into startups than sf.

---

So this was my naive take on sf. I know things are not all sunshine and rainbows.

There is still a massive drug and homeless problem there and I believe there is nothing that beats the quality of life of Switzerland.

But I'm not going there to max out on pleasure. I'm going there to build, learn, grow and sell.

So if you are in sf and building in the GTM space hmu in my DMs.

If you wanna hear how things turn out, follow me for more updates soon:)
