Clay for Agents · waterfall enrichment in Claude Code
We have built Clay, but for Agents instead of GTM Engineers.
A real Clay-style waterfall enrichment. Inside Claude Code. Called by an agent, not a human.
Honest take on why this took us so long.
Building an AI-native CLI was hard. The question kept coming back. What can we ship that a GTM engineer can't just vibe code in an afternoon? Claude Code can build anything. But do you actually want to?
Most don't.
People started rolling their own waterfall enrichments on top of Supabase. Little visibility into what's running. Still paying every vendor directly. They used to love Clay for solving exactly this. Now Clay's pricing sucks and it adapted poorly to agents.
So we picked the only thing that made sense. Build something as open, flexible, and extendable as possible. GTM engineers are sick of lock-ins.
Here's what shipped in OXYGEN:
→ Multi-provider waterfall (email, phone, mobile, LinkedIn) → Provider fallback chain you control. Order them, swap them, skip them → Full visibility on which provider hit, which missed, what it cost → Called directly from Claude Code, or scheduled as an agent run → Bring your own keys. Or use ours. Your call.
The architecture bit: we host a Postgres DB for every user.
Your coding agents hit it natively. To you, the UI looks like Clay tables. Humans get observability, agents get a real database.
Why this matters. Frontier models got post-trained on tons of DB tasks. Agent performance is wild. They know Postgres better than any custom waterfall syntax we could invent.
We even baked in workflows on top (n8n-style). More on that later.
You get the same waterfall a GTM engineer would design in Clay, without gluing 5 vendor APIs together in Supabase at 2 am.
Tomorrow we're going deep on this with Arian Pekaric 🐸 from ContactOut.
We're covering data quality and how it actually impacts your GTM. Both sides: the data underneath outbound, and what changes when an agent is the one calling the providers.
